5GWN 2017 Workshop on Big Data promotes the in-depth exploration of the most recent theory, applications, and development findings on the basis of big data. This workshop welcomes the participation of the industry to showcase and commercialize their relevant technology and application as well as products. Scientists, engineers, and students are encouraged to get involved.


Topics of interest include, but are not limited to following Tracks:


Track1: Big Data Science and Data Center

²  System architecture (Hadoop/Spark/Flink etc.), system performance analysis

²  Data Center operation and maintenance (power/water/central heating supply etc.)

Track2: Big Data R&A on Telecom Industry

²  Big Data based network planning and optimization

²  Big Data analysis of users (user group/user behavior/user track etc.)

²  Big Data assisted telecom operation (customer maintain/value-added service etc.)

²  Big Data analysis of mobile terminals (distribution/category/brand etc.)

²  Big Data analysis of network quality & performance & telecom value area

Track3: Big Data R&A on Meteorological Industry

²  Converged applications based on telecom and meteorological Big Data

²  Meteorological Big Data R&A on transportation, insurance and relevant industries

²  Big Data analysis of accurate statistic and prediction of meteorological elements

²  Big Data analysis of meteorological and hydrological services

Track4: Big Data R&A on Other Industries

²  Big Data on economy, business models, marketing strategy

²  Big Data on transportation (transportation design, routing planning, parking etc.)

²  Big Data assisted public issues (epidemic spread forecast/human flow control etc.)

²  Big Data application in other relevant fields

Submission Guide:

Papers should be written in English. Submitted papers must be original work, and may not be under consideration for another publication. Each technical paper will be peer-to-peer reviewed by TPC members. Papers, which are accepted and presented, will be published in the conference proceedings via Springer and submitted for inclusion into EI indexing.
